PIA Fares Increase

PIA – Pakistan International Airlines has increased its fares between the UK and Pakistan due to increased demand and rising fuel prices, the airline which has recently reported millions of pounds in losses is looking to re-establish its brand identity and restore its credibility among its loyal customer base throughout the world.

PIA has suffered greatly over the last 7 years from one of its most profitable routes outside of Pakistan “Manchester UK”, PIA’s profits have been hit hard over last several years due to stiff competition and low prices offered by its arch rival Airblue – Pakistan’s largest privately owned airline.

Airblue offered fares to its passengers from as low as £380.00 return and only £140 one-way on flights between Manchester and Islamabad, the short lived fares toughened the competition between the two rivals to the great benefit of the Pakistani community.

Airblue discontinued its operation between the UK and pakistan in January 2014, prompting PIA to suddenly increase fares from all Uk airports.
