Customers requiring information on Lost Luggage please kindly read the following information which you will find useful.

Update

Any passenger not receiving their baggage must immediately file lost luggage report immediately and ensure you provide details of missing items to the officer or airline representative. In many cases people have not filed a full detailed report and as such your claim for compensation can be limited.

Your lost report must be filed at the same airport it has been lost, you cannot file a valid report if you do not make a report immediately.

  • Ensure you provide your full name, address and details of your ticket to the baggage handler
  • Ensure the report contains accurate details of your report

Mishandled Baggage and Lost Baggage Tracking How To Report
“PIA believes in, and strives to provide its customers with the most convenient service. But despite our efforts, in the rare case of your baggage being mishandled, we regret the inconvenience caused to you and assure you that the PIA Baggage Services, in collaboration with the Worldwide Tracking System, will track, retrieve and deliver* your lost baggage to your doorstep!”

As soon as you are aware of your baggage getting lost, register a complaint in the Baggage services office at the station of arrival. You will be required to provide your baggage details to the Baggage Service officer who shall enter them into our computerized tracking system and issue you a receipt containing the tracking number and mandatory details of your baggage. Please ensure that your name, address, and bag details are correct, as this information will facilitate tracking and retrieval, enabling the Baggage service officers to return your baggage to you, as soon as possible.

  2. PIA is the worst Airline…I lost my baggage months ago and they dont deal with the situation effectively, they hardly pick up the customer service number, so ridiculous.

Pia is the worst airline that I have ever been. the customer services are below the standard, and the people on the help desk on Karachi airport in lost and found laguage has no clue how to help the customer. When I phone the lost and found laguage they don’t pick the phone first if they do, they tell me that I need to call tomorrow and when I call tomorow they will say that they can’t help.

    Comeon PIA sort this mase if u don’t wana lose the customer and want to stay and compete in the airline industry. RUbbissssssss service when u travel by PIA it looks like that you travel on donkey with cart, that is how the services are rubisshh

  5. Come to a Trip to Gilgit (from Islamabad) and then you will know what PIA can offer you in the worst. I lately experienced it when on arrival in Gilgit I found out that my luggage was not reached there. To my bitter frustration I was not the only one. There were other travelers too who stood empty-handed at the airport. It was told that it a routine matter for travelers between Islamabad and Gilgit for not receiving their luggage, which is carried by the next flight the next day. In my case it took two days. Now imagine yourself without your warm clothes and other articles in the Gilgit winter.
    PIA surely is a shame for any notion of decency on earth.

    Dear Sir,
    This is submitted that recently I have performed UMRAH & traveled in PIA departure from Medina Munawara to Karachi & Karachi to Sukkur on 23.02.2013 under flight # PK-744 when I arrived in Karachi @ 06.45 AM my baggage & ZAM ZAM bottle was not found I lodged complaint at Karachi Airport on the same day i.e. 23.02.2013.

    Staff of PIA at Karachi Airport assured me that my baggage & ZAM ZAM bottle shall be send to my home place at Sukkur Airport with in two or three days but not latter then 26.02.2013.

    I am regret to say that after 10 days yet not received my baggage I am regularly visiting Sukkur Airport daily & paying Taxi charges @ 1200/= per day.

    Now I am requesting you to please instruct to your responsible staff to arrange delivery of my baggage along with ZAM ZAM bottle immediately.

My Mrs. yesterday 31 March 2014 she came by PK785/ her 1 bag is lost I made 4 phone calls each time they were very polid and friendly as soon as I mentioned about lost property they put the phone down on my face. shame at least transfer the call to some one who can help or provide me a contact number.

  9. My father lost baggage on flight PK.218.it’s happend in March 2016 and still no information when we contact pia representative they are not saying anything clear and do miss behave.pia is rubish.plz help me out how can I get bagage back or to get information about that.

    My dear mother passed away , went with her from London to lahore unfortunately on pia on 20th of may 2016 flight number pk758 got to lahore and could not find my luggage. Still waiting for luggage still no sign. Shame on pia inshallaha never travel on pia again

    I forget to carry my hand luggage from aeroplane cabin on 15th March 2018 flight pk-852 islamabad to Tokyo via Beijing, This should be PIA staff duty to take care of my luggage and send it back to me but unfortunately it lost , i have pic of my luggage its navy blue hand carry with white writing on it ( Winnie the pooh ) if u have it then please return it to this number ***//removed//***.
